Well that's interesting
Padraig: Thanks Chris, I like this because so many people see different things in it, deep sea sea life, wraiths, even squashed fairies apparently!
wow! your entire portfolio is very very good: so inspiring and so creative!
I really like these smoke shots...especially the colour in this one...having a long lost background in digital media and photoshop, I was almost tempted to get back into "tweaking" myself but I'm too lazy...
Padraig: Thank you so much, thats such an encouraging compliment. As for photoshop...go on....you know you want to!!
i Like this. so did u light it from above or below.
Padraig: I'm pleased you like it, thanks. It was lit from the RHS but since the shot is rotated through 90' you could say from the bottom.
Totally phenomenal, Pedraig. A LIKEY for me.
Padraig: Thank you very much Ginnie. "totally phenominal" you sound a bit like an IRN-BRU advert LOL.
Its just occured to me that IRN-BRU reference is likely to mean absolutely nothing to most people...never mind..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXziWRCMalA
never thought i would see smoking turned into art, but you have with these shots Padraig
Padraig: Cheers Tim, although I've long since quit being a smoker, for this I used insence.
cant believe i haven't run into your site before. some really fantastic work. i prefer the other smoke shot. Almost looks like chiffon (spelt right?) wafting in the wind and the shote shot is wonderfully soft
this is also very eletric though
Padraig: Thanks Liam your comments are much appreciated and really encouraging. Yes I think the first one is my favourite one also.
I did some of these a while ago, very nicely done
Padraig: Cheers Mark, It was good fun trying to manipulate the smoke in different ways.
